So a friend of mine who Ive known since I was six, moved to california when I was 17, and I last saw the december before last passed away. my last phone conversation with her was about two months ago, and she was supposed to come to oklahoma to visit family and friends this weekend. she was older, very kind and always had a smile no matter how much pain she was in. shell be buried in norman with her husband on friday.

on a much lighter note, my surgery is being postponed until further notice and has been replaced with a medicine that will supposedly shrink the pollups momentarily, now as far as getting on a plane later this month and having my ears equalize, we'll have to see, either the pollups will be small and air will be able to flow, or my ear drums will burst. either way itll be interesting to see what happens.

I have now officially started labeling my minidv tapes, and have found hours and hours of footage of backstage stuff from drama productions in high school, these include SNL skits, drama banquet videos, infamous makeup room footage etc. it was..a little unsettling watching the footage. seeing so many people from long ago who were so much fun...who have turned into complete assholes now. not just particular people in drama, just high school in general, how i used to worship james malone, now he is in more than just my opinion scum. some people who were role models, now druggies going nowhere. but there is also alot of happy memories, project graduation had plenty of humorous moments and the drama footage, no matter who they are now, were hilarious then and in these frozen moments of time i am lucky enough to have an abundunce of.

the final thing im going to  talk about is the world trade center. ive been flip flopping about this movie more than john kerry was with his policies, and ive finally decided to support this movie. I dont think its too soon, in all honesty, its never too soon and its been too long. since i was watching it happen on tv, ive been thinking of how a filmmaker would capture that day, and i myself have wanted to make a film about september 11. I also think about how its been five years since the planes hit. ive gone through my entire high school career since then. ive worked in hollywood since then. ive done and experienced countless events since 9/11 in all honesty, 9/11 seems like a lifetime ago. and since this movie isnt politically charged and its just about hope, how people can be good to each other, light in the darkness and all that stuff. believe it or not, but world trade center will be a feel good movie. so, if anybody wants to go with me, id rather not see it and be alone, so let me know. it comes out a week from today.
